So, I don't know if any of you watch The Mindy Project, but it is only getting better with each passing episode. More importantly, however, Mindy Kaling looks impeccable in every episode (which makes me extra sad that her appearance is a constant joke on the show, even if it is tongue-in-cheek). But anyway, I really loved her outfit from Tuesday night's episode, and I thought I would try to compose it for myself, rather than duplicate exactly. Here goes!

Voila! What do you think? Would you go for it? Now that I look at what I've pulled together, it's a little on the bumblebee side, no? Ah well, perhaps there's another Peter Pan collar out there that would soften it. C'est la vie!

I'll be honest, I've never seen the Mindy Project (and I never really got into The Office) but that doesn't stop me from coveting that sequin collar!

Mindy Kaling is my idol. Have you seen her webisodes for The Office called Subtle Sexuality? They are HILARIOUS. As for her fashion, the Possessionista blog actually follows The Mindy Project and usually posts Mindy's outfits- you should check it out!
