The Claus Porto Rozan Paradise Rose candle. I had high hopes for this candle. I was immediately attracted to the very pretty scent of roses in the adorable little store up the street from me. And better yet, it was on sale! So I snatched it up.
Unfortunately, the scent, which was so lovely unburnt, became totally overpowering once lit, in addition to the fact that it is totally one note. To make matters worse, after a few days of trying to mix and match it with other scents in my collection, I discovered that it was the source of my scratchy throat and sinus congestion. Alas! I learned the hard way to be suspicious of heavily scented candles. Le sigh.
