Fig+Yarrow Pink Love Salts

As a former employee of Anthropologie, I know when to appreciate a good discount.  Before I bid my goodbyes, I loaded up my shopping cart with some goodies -- you know, just to remember all the good times I had.  One of these was the Fig+Yarrow Pink Love Salts packette.  I do so love to lounge in the bath, and these seemed to promise a relaxing and sumptuous experience.  How could I say no?

Unfortunately, I don't think these quite lived up to their promise.  Although a quick sniff before sprinkling them in the water revealed a lovely combination of citrus and patchouli, the scent totally disappeared once mixed into a hot bath.  I also found it quite difficult to get them to dissolve, and it's not really a luxurious experience lying on top of huge chunks of salt.

These will definitely not be a repeat purchase for me, I'm gonna stick to my plain old Epsom salts and candles for the time being while I search for something to really enrich my bath time fun.
